Closing the front of a Wildcat Trail or Sport cockpit only moves the problem: with the back of the cage open, the dust you kicked up gets pulled straight in behind you. This UTV Zilla rear windshield closes that opening with 3/16" polycarbonate on custom billet mounts, with a rubber seal along the bottom edge to protect the plastics and stop the panel rattling on rough ground.
It is available plain or tinted. Both are the same price, and neither is hard coated.
Key Features
- Tough 3/16" thick polycarbonate construction
- Custom billet mounts and stainless steel hardware
- 3D CAD designed and CNC cut for fit and finish
- Rubber seal along the bottom edge protects plastics and prevents rattling
- Choice of plain or tinted polycarbonate
- Designed and made in the USA
Built To Solve: Dust Pulled Into The Back Of A Wildcat Trail Cab
- A front windshield with an open rear cage creates low pressure behind the cab that draws your own dust forward
- Riding in a group puts the dust of the machine ahead straight through an open back
- Cold-weather riding is cut short by wind coming in from behind even with the front sealed
- Bare polycarbonate edges rest on bodywork and rattle; the rubber seal prevents it
- Rear panels take abuse from gear loaded in and out of the bed
Best For: Wildcat Trail And Sport Owners Already Running A Front Windshield
- Riders who fitted a front windshield and still get dust in the cab
- Group and convoy riders eating the dust of the machine ahead
- Cold-weather riders closing the cockpit front and back
- Owners who want tint over the rear opening for privacy or glare
- Worth knowing: neither option is hard coated, and UTV Zilla notes that polycarbonate can and will scratch. If a pristine rear view matters to you long term, factor that in

FAQ
Plain or tinted?
Both are the same price and neither is hard coated, so the choice is purely whether you want tint. Tint cuts glare and sun on the back of your neck; plain keeps the clearest rearward view.
Is there a scratch-resistant option?
Not for the rear windshield. UTV Zilla offers both options as explicitly not hard coated, and they note polycarbonate can and will scratch. Their Wildcat Trail/Sport half windshield does have a hard-coated option if you want that on the front.
Will a rear panel actually keep dust out?
It closes the opening that pulls dust forward when the front is already sealed. With the front closed and the back open, air moving past the cab draws your own dust in behind you. Closing the back is what stops that.
Will it work with my roof?
UTV Zilla notes it may not be compatible with other aftermarket roofs, windshields or cab enclosures. It is designed around the same stock cage as their own Wildcat Trail/Sport roofs, so those are the safest pairing.
Does it rattle?
A rubber seal runs along the bottom edge specifically to protect the plastics and prevent rattling, which is the usual problem with a bare panel edge on bodywork.
Will it fit a Wildcat XX?
No. The XX takes the separate UTV Zilla Wildcat XX tinted rear window. This panel is cut for the Trail and Sport 700 cage.
Why UTV Zilla
UTV Zilla cuts 3/16" polycarbonate on CNC from 3D CAD patterns, supplies custom billet mounts and stainless hardware, and seals the bottom edge against rattle, all designed and made in the USA. They are also candid about what polycarbonate does over time, which is why the scratch note is on their own page rather than buried.
Close In Your Wildcat Trail Cockpit
Check what is already mounted across the back of your cage before ordering, since UTV Zilla flags possible conflicts with other aftermarket roofs and enclosures. This rear panel pairs with the UTV Zilla Wildcat Trail/Sport half windshield for the front, where the Hard Coated option is worth the same money as tint, and with either the aluminum or hard plastic roof overhead. Together those three close the cockpit on a machine most brands no longer support.
