FAQ

How much heat does this RZR XP Turbo in-dash heater put out?

SuperATV rates it as capable of 20,000 BTU at 135 CFM. It draws heat from the engine coolant, so it keeps putting out hot air as long as the engine is running.

Does it defrost the windshield?

Yes. The kit includes the vents and tubing to send heat to the windshield, and the blower clears frost and fog quickly.

Which RZR models does it fit?

SuperATV lists the Polaris RZR XP Turbo and RZR XP 4 Turbo from 2016 through 2021. Choose the 2016-2018 or 2019-2021 option for your year. It is not compatible with Dynamix models.

How much power does it draw?

The heater draws 5.2 amps at 13.6 volts and carries an IP67 rating.

Is this the same as the RZR XP Turbo cab heater?

No. This heater mounts inside the dash and is rated at 20,000 BTU. SuperATV also sells a separate cab heater for the XP Turbo that mounts under the dash between the seats.

Quick-start flow valve or idle flow pump: which one do I need?

The quick-start flow valve sends all engine coolant to the heater core at low engine temps and cuts warm-up time roughly in half, then opens on its own once the engine is warm. The idle flow pump actively circulates coolant so you get heat in about 30 seconds, even at idle or slow speeds. SuperATV recommends combining them for the fastest heat.

Why SuperATV

SuperATV designs its in-dash heaters around each machine so the unit sits inside the RZR XP Turbo dash with the defrost tubing out of sight, and it ships separate kits and instructions for 2016-2018 and 2019-2021 machines. The heater is backed by SuperATV's 1-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects to the original purchaser.

Build a Warmer RZR XP Turbo Cab

Choose your model-year range, then pair this in-dash heater with a roof and front and rear windshields to hold the heat. Add the quick-start flow valve and idle flow pump if you spend a lot of time at idle or low speed.
