The RAM Mounts RAM-B-224-1U Twist-Lock suction cup base holds a 1-inch B size ball on your windshield with no drilling, so you can mount a phone or GPS and pull it off after the ride.
It pairs a 3.3-inch Twist-Lock suction cup with RAM's RAM-B-238U diamond ball base. Twisting the knob draws the cup down for a much stronger hold than a plain press-on cup, and twisting it back releases the seal cleanly.
It sticks to glass and other smooth, nonporous surfaces, so it suits a UTV with a hard glass or polycarbonate windshield, a smooth panel, or a truck or tow rig windshield. Textured factory dash plastic will not hold suction; for that, bolt down a RAM round plate or diamond base instead.
The base is high-strength composite with a powder-coated marine-grade aluminum diamond base and weighs 0.28 lb. Weight capacity is 2 lb for standard use and 1 lb for heavy-duty use, which covers phones, GPS units and small tablets. Add a B size double socket arm and a holder to finish the mount.
