Do I need the radius rear bungs or will the standard kit work?

If your Turbo R cage build has compound-angle tube intersections at the rear positions — which is common with most custom cage designs — the radius bungs give you a much cleaner, fuller weld at those nodes. If your rear tubes enter the nodes at purely perpendicular angles, the standard Builder Kit is sufficient. When in doubt, the radius bung version is the better choice for a professional-quality finish.

What exactly is a radius bung?

A radius bung has a curved face that matches the outside profile of a receiving tube. When a tube intersects another tube rather than a flat plate, a radius bung seats cleanly against the curved surface — resulting in a better weld fit-up and stronger finished joint than a flat-face bung.
