Why is there a separate A pillar bung instead of including it in the cage bung sets?
The Pro R and Turbo R A pillar uses a larger diameter tube than the rest of the cage — often 2.00" OD versus the 1.75" OD used at other cage nodes. Because builders sometimes use different tube sizes at this position depending on their build spec, AJK sells the A pillar bung separately so you can choose the correct diameter for your specific A pillar tube.
Which diameter should I choose?
2.00" OD matches the Pro R factory A pillar tube diameter. 1.75" is for builds that use the smaller tube at the A pillar position. Match the bung OD to the tube OD you are welding to.
