Factory radius rods on the 2022+ Polaris RZR Pro R bend before the chassis does, and a bent rod does not go back to the length it left the factory at. This LM UTV kit is the 74 inch 7075 Straight radius rods set: 4 adjustable length straight radius rods with 3/4 spherical bearings, fitted as a Direct Bolt-on Replacement so rod length is set on purpose instead of inherited.

The rods are 7075 Aircraft-grade aluminum and run JMX12T left and right hand 3 Piece Chromoly PTFE lined bearings with Stainless Steel spacers. Straight geometry keeps the kit close to the factory line, which is the right choice on a Pro R that spends its time in dunes and open desert, where clearance underneath the rod is not the thing limiting you.

Built To Solve: Bent And Non-Adjustable Factory Radius Rods On The 74 Inch Polaris RZR Pro R

  • A rod that took a landing and stayed bent. Once the length has changed, the alignment you set is gone and it does not come back on its own.
  • No way to correct rod length after the fact. These are 4 adjustable length straight radius rods, so length is a setting rather than a fixed dimension.
  • Tired factory rod ends. The kit runs JMX12T left and right hand 3 Piece Chromoly PTFE lined bearings with Stainless Steel spacers in place of the OEM ends.
  • Replacing one rod at a time. All four rods are replaced together so the geometry is set as a matched set.
  • A repair that turns into fabrication. LM UTV lists this kit as a Direct Bolt-on Replacement.

Best For: 74 Inch Polaris RZR Pro R Owners Riding Dunes And Open Desert

  • Pro R and Pro R 4 owners on the 74 inch chassis — LM UTV lists this kit as Fits 2022+ RZR Pro R / RZR Pro R 4
  • Dune riders loading the suspension through soft transitions and steep faces
  • High-speed desert riders who want the factory rod line with a stronger rod and a serviceable bearing
  • Owners rebuilding after bending a factory rod who want the length adjustable next time
  • If you ride rocky or heavily rutted terrain and the lower rod is what keeps getting hit, the LM UTV High Clearance kit is the better fit — straight rods sit in the same place the factory rod does
  • RZR Turbo R and Pro S owners need a different part: this kit is listed for RZR Pro R and Pro R 4 only, and the High Clearance kit is the one that lists Turbo R and Pro S. RZR XP 1000 owners are on a different chassis again and need their own radius rod part number

FAQ

My Pro R keeps bending factory radius rods. What changes with this kit?

The rod itself changes. These are 7075 Aircraft-grade aluminum straight rods running JMX12T left and right hand 3 Piece Chromoly PTFE lined bearings, replacing the factory rod and its ends as a complete set of four.

Can I set rod length after the rods are on the machine?

The kit is 4 adjustable length straight radius rods with 3/4 spherical bearings, so length is adjustable rather than fixed at a single factory dimension. Set your alignment after any length change.

Will these fit a RZR Turbo R, a Pro S or an XP 1000?

No. LM UTV lists this kit as Fits 2022+ RZR Pro R / RZR Pro R 4 on the 74 inch chassis. Turbo R and Pro S owners should look at the High Clearance kit, which lists those models, and the XP 1000 is a different chassis entirely.

What finishes is this kit available in?

It is available in machined finished or Black Powder Coat. Unlike the High Clearance kit, custom colors are not listed for this part number.

Is any cutting or welding needed to fit these?

No. LM UTV lists this kit as a Direct Bolt-on Replacement.

How does this compare to the High Clearance radius rods?

This kit is four straight rods in 7075 Aircraft-grade aluminum that follow close to the factory line. The High Clearance kit is 6061 Aircraft-grade aluminum with 2 High Clearance lower rods that sit higher to clear obstacles. Straight for dunes and open desert speed, High Clearance for rocks and ruts.

Set Up Your 74 Inch Polaris RZR Pro R Straight Radius Rods

Before ordering, confirm you are on a RZR Pro R or Pro R 4 rather than a Turbo R or Pro S, and pick your finish — machined finished or Black Powder Coat. After the rods are on, get an alignment, because the rods are adjustable length and the setting you leave them at is the one you will ride. From there, the LM UTV Pro R rear toe rods are the logical companion: they eliminate the OEM eccentric bolt so rear toe can be adjusted on the car, which is a separate job from the radius rods. Spare bearings and Stainless Steel spacers are worth keeping on the shelf before a trip.
