This LM UTV six-piece high clearance kit raises the lower rods on the 72" Can-Am Maverick X3 RS chassis and runs them on sealed, PTFE-lined 5/8 spherical bearings, so the rod clears the obstacle instead of taking the hit and bending.

The kit uses two different bearing types by job: FKS spherical bearings rated at 40,000 static radial load where the load is highest, and JMX Teflon heims rated at 18,000 static radial load. Fitment

Fits 2017 and newer Can-Am Maverick X3 RS models on the 72" chassis, including the four-seat X3 Max on the same width. This is the 72" high clearance kit; it does not fit the 64" chassis, and the straight-rod kit is a separate part number. Confirm your chassis width before ordering. Do I need to modify the chassis to install these?

Finish Your Can-Am Maverick X3 High Clearance Rear End

High clearance rods move the weak point somewhere else. Confirm you are on the 72" chassis first, then look at what the rods bolt to: a rear radius rod plate or pull plate and a double-shear bulkhead keep the new rods in a mount that will not become the next failure. Radius rod spacers, spare 5/8 bearings and a lower-rod rebuild kit are worth having before a trip rather than after one, and if you are refreshing the rear end completely, the matching 72" tie rods and limit straps finish the job.
