That is the widest coverage in their alignment range and the reason to pick this kit over the 4-lug-only version. Check your own hubs before ordering rather than assuming from the machine's model name.

Does this measure camber, or only toe?

Both. The two included tape measures let you measure toe directly across the plates, and the included magnetic digital angle finder reads camber off the plate face. Toe and camber are separate angles that need separate measurements, and this kit gives you a tool for each rather than making you infer one from the other.

Do I have to take the wheels off to use it?

Yes. The plates bolt to the hub and are secured with your own lug nuts, so the wheel comes off to fit them. That is the trade this design makes on purpose: measuring from the hub face gives a reading that a flexible sidewall and a knobby tread cannot, which is the whole reason to use a plate instead of leaning a straightedge against a tire.

Can I use it on the rear of my machine?

Yes. Each plate bolts to a hub, and nothing about the design is specific to the front axle, so you can check rear toe and rear camber the same way — provided the rear bolt pattern is one of the four supported. On many machines the rear pattern matches the front, but confirm rather than assume.

It works on any ATV or UTV whose hubs use one of the four supported bolt patterns. High Lifter describes the tool as being for ATV and UTV alignment generally.
