The Rugged Radios G2 Mini Radio Kit packages the compact 30-watt G2 Mini GMRS mobile radio with a tuned antenna, a UNI-MAG antenna mount, a radio mount and a fused DC power cable. The small radio body installs out of sight while every control lives in the IP67 waterproof hand microphone.
The UNI-MAG mount works for traditional NMO mounting or magnetic mounting. AMPLIFY 2.0 uses a Mitsubishi transmit amplifier for stable power, and the RIDEui display keeps settings simple. Features include all standard GMRS channels, repeater channels, 259 privacy codes, adjustable tone code, P1/P2 presets, a programmable HWY button, weather alerts, adjustable power, squelch and brightness, TX/RX alert, button lock and an external speaker port.
Note that the G2 Mini is not compatible with intercom communications. It works with all GMRS radios, including Motorola, Midland, Uniden and Rugged, and with FRS radios on shared channels. A GMRS license is required. This GMRS radio kit is a complete compact GMRS radio setup in one box.
