A spare tire that shifts on rough desert terrain is a problem on any Polaris RZR Pro XP, Turbo R or Pro S. The DRT Motorsports Desert Runner Fixed Tire Carrier locks the spare down with an adjustable T-handle and tapered rubber cone, and its fixed mounting design keeps the OEM storage box accessible.
It is laser-cut, formed and welded from 1/8–3/16-inch steel, adds an integrated mounting base for a chase light or light bar, and installs with minor cutting and drilling.
The Desert Runner tire carrier is DRT's RZR Pro XP tire carrier for desert use: one fixed RZR spare tire carrier that serves as a Pro XP spare tire carrier, Turbo R tire carrier and RZR Pro S tire carrier. Riders comparing a RZR Pro XP fixed tire carrier with a swing-out RZR tire carrier choose it because the spare stays locked down, and as a Turbo R spare tire mount it keeps the OEM box open. It is a far tighter fit than a universal UTV spare tire carrier.

Why DRT Motorsports
DRT Motorsports develops its Desert Runner line for high-speed desert use. This fixed carrier uses thick laser-cut and welded steel, corrosion-resistant alloy hardware and DRT Sand Black powder coat, and it is designed to work with the DRT trunk enclosure on the same cars.
