Why do stock axles break?

Axles fail where the shaft and CV joint run out of articulation and plunge travel under load. Demon uses larger CV joints and shafts and a dual heat treated chromoly shaft to raise that limit.

What are TPEE boots?

Thermoplastic polyester elastomer. Demon uses them because they are stiffer and more fatigue, puncture and temperature resistant than a standard OEM boot — boots are where many axle failures start.

What is 300M steel?

Demon describes 300M as an aircraft-grade alloy: a modified, reinforced 4340 chromoly with vanadium and higher silicon content added for strength and high-temperature oxidation resistance.
