The Rugged Radios Car Harness connects a headset, a Rugged handheld or mobile radio and a steering wheel push to talk button, so you can transmit without taking your hands off the wheel. It has a coiled cord to a universal 5-pin headset jack, a 5-pin radio jack, a 3-pin PTT jack and a molded Y block.
The 5-pin radio jack needs a jumper for handheld radios and some mobile radios. The headset and PTT are not included. This item is sold as clearance stock.
A car harness is the simplest way to build a single-seat radio headset system with remote PTT, using a 5 pin headset and a steering wheel push to talk button.
It works as a radio headset harness, race radio harness, handheld radio harness or headset harness, and it pairs with any push to talk button that has a 3-pin plug for remote PTT.
