The Rugged Radios Battery Eliminator for the GMR2 PLUS replaces the handheld radio battery and runs the radio from your vehicle's 12-volt auxiliary power outlet, so it never goes dead mid-ride. It works with both GMR2 and GMR2 PLUS handheld radios and is ideal for long days, events and trips where charging outlets are scarce.
To use it, remove the radio battery and slide the battery eliminator into its place, then plug it into the auxiliary power outlet in your car, truck or UTV. Radios are sold separately.
A battery eliminator turns a GMR2 handheld into a powered in-vehicle radio, and it saves battery cycles on your GMR2 battery when you are riding all day.
This GMR2 battery eliminator works like a radio car charger that never needs a charge cycle: a handheld radio battery eliminator and 12v battery eliminator for the Rugged GMR2 PLUS GMRS radio.
