Is this a grab handle or a door opening handle?
It is a door opening/closing handle — a direct replacement for the factory door strap that you pull to open and push to close the door. It is not a roll bar grab handle. For a cage grab handle, the AJK Grab Handle is available separately on the site.
Does this work with gloves on?
Yes — the billet handle design is much easier to grip with riding gloves than the flat factory strap. This is one of the most popular reasons riders choose this upgrade.
Does the 2-door set include both driver and passenger handles?
Yes — the set includes one handle per door for the applicable door count.
Will this fit the 4-seat X3 Max rear doors?
Yes — select the 4-door option for the X3 Max to get handles for all four door positions.
Is installation tool-intensive?
No — the handles bolt in place of the factory strap using the existing mounting points. Basic hand tools are sufficient. No modification is required.
