The FOX 2.5 Performance Elite rear shocks for Polaris General 1000 deliver race-inspired suspension performance with advanced adjustability and exceptional durability. FOX Performance Elite shocks feature Dual-Speed Compression (DSC) adjustment, allowing riders to independently tune high-speed and low-speed compression damping. This enables precise suspension tuning for terrain conditions, vehicle load, and riding style.
The 2.5-inch aluminum shock bodies increase oil capacity while efficiently dissipating heat, ensuring consistent damping performance during aggressive riding. FOX’s race-developed high-flow damping pistons provide improved small-bump compliance while maintaining strong bottom-out resistance during larger impacts.
The piggyback reservoir increases oil capacity and houses an Internal Floating Piston (IFP) that separates nitrogen gas from the shock oil. This prevents aeration and maintains consistent damping performance during extended off-road use.
