The FOX 2.5 Performance Elite shocks for Polaris General XP 4 deliver race-inspired suspension performance with exceptional durability and extensive adjustability. Designed as a direct bolt-on suspension upgrade, these shocks dramatically improve ride quality, control, and off-road capability for the Polaris General XP 4.
FOX Performance Elite Series shocks feature Dual Speed Compression (DSC) adjustment, allowing drivers to independently tune both high-speed and low-speed compression damping. This provides precise control over suspension performance based on terrain conditions, vehicle load, and driving style.
Built for demanding off-road environments, these shocks feature 2.5-inch diameter aluminum bodies that increase internal oil volume while improving heat dissipation. FOX race-developed high-flow damping pistons deliver consistent suspension performance and excellent small bump compliance.
The piggyback reservoir design increases oil capacity and houses an Internal Floating Piston (IFP) that separates nitrogen from shock oil. This design prevents oil aeration and helps maintain consistent damping performance during aggressive riding.
FOX also incorporates Bottom-Out Control (BOC) technology, which increases compression damping during the final portion of the shock’s travel. This allows the suspension to absorb hard impacts more effectively while maintaining comfort during normal driving conditions.
With wide-range rebound adjustment and preload collars, riders can fine-tune traction, ride height, and suspension response to match their preferred riding style and terrain.
