How do I choose .095" vs .120" wall?
Match the wall thickness to the tube wall you are welding these disconnects into. If your bumper tube is .095" wall, use the .095" disconnect. If .120" wall, use the .120" version. Mismatching wall thickness creates a step at the weld joint.
How many disconnects do I need per joint?
Two disconnects per joint — one welded to each tube end that will be connected. The two pieces then bolt together to create the removable joint.
How is this different from the standard Flat Tubing Disconnect?
