Will this work on a textured UTV dash?

Suction cups require smooth, non-porous surfaces. Most factory UTV dash surfaces are textured and not ideal for suction cup mounting. For UTV cage tube mounting, the AJK Aluminum RAM Mount cage clamp is the recommended solution. This suction cup is best for smooth windshields and hard smooth surfaces.

Is this different from the RAM-B-224-1U listed separately?
