This kit is not compatible with the stock valve cover and is intended only for machines equipped with the TPR016 billet valve cover.

Ignition Code & Dwell Table Information

Some users running aftermarket tunes may experience a cold start ignition code. This is typically due to ignition dwell timing variance in certain aftermarket tuning maps. In most cases, the code clears after a few minutes of engine operation.

Approximately 10% of customers with aftermarket tunes report a temporary cold start code. A revised ignition dwell map can resolve this issue. Any tuning shop with access to your calibration can update the dwell table.

• 7V – 8.3 ms
• 8V – 5.8 ms
• 10V – 3.4 ms
• 12V – 2.25 ms
• 14V – 1.75 ms
• 16V – 1.5 ms
• 18V – 1.3 ms

Aftermarket ECU & Drivers

• Maximum dwell: 3.4 ms @ 14V
• Adjust by 0.2–0.4 ms per volt
• Maximum dwell limit: 4.2 ms
