This infrared belt temperature sensor connects directly to your NMEA 2000 (N2K) network, just like a Lowrance Point-1 or Baja antenna, and displays belt temperature seamlessly on your GPS screen. Whether you’re trail riding, rock crawling, dune riding, or racing, keeping belt temperatures in check is essential for extending CVT belt life and preventing costly breakdowns.

Installation is quick and straightforward. Simply drill a 3/8”–1/2” hole in the plastic belt cover above the center of the belt and adhere the compact sensor cube using the pre-installed 3M high-strength waterproof adhesive. The sensor features 3/16” thick waterproof closed-cell foam, allowing it to contour perfectly to the belt cover for accurate readings and long-term durability.

🔧 Installation Notes

• Drill a 3/8”–1/2” hole in the plastic CVT belt cover
• Clean surface thoroughly before install
• Press sensor firmly for 30 seconds
• Allow 24 hours for adhesive to fully cure
• Sensor mounts externally—no internal CVT disassembly required

Setup Guidance:

• If you already have an external antenna:
  Connect the T-connector and extension cable inline with your existing N2K network
• If you do not have an external antenna:
  Use the Network Starter Kit to supply power to the sensor
