The stock A-arms on a Polaris RZR XP 1000 are the first thing to catch a rock, and the first thing to lose camber once you add a lift or bigger tires. SuperATV's high-clearance A-arms replace them with a bent-tube design that adds 1.5 in. of ground clearance and adjustable pivot blocks that hold your alignment where you set it.

The bend is the whole idea. It raises the lowest point of the front suspension so ledges, roots and rock shelves pass underneath instead of hanging you up, and it does it without lifting the machine or altering factory suspension geometry. The pivot blocks then let you dial camber back to spec after a lift or a tire upgrade, which is what stops the premature tire wear those changes normally cause.

Key Features

  • Bent-tube design adds 1.5 in. of ground clearance without lifting the machine
  • 1.25 in. tubing, 25% larger than the stock arms, with .138 in. sidewalls
  • Adjustable pivot blocks for full camber adjustability, pre-set to stock specifications
  • UHMW bushings included at no extra cost, self-lubricating and frictionless
  • UV-resistant powder coat finish in Red, Black or Voodoo Blue
  • Choose upper, lower, or a full upper-and-lower set
  • Optional pre-installed ball joints in four grades, installed free when purchased together
  • Lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects on the A-arms

Built To Solve: Polaris RZR XP 1000 Suspension Damage And Camber Loss

  • Hanging up on obstacles. Stock arms sit low. Rock gardens, stumps and downed logs catch them, and one bad hit can end a ride.
  • Bent or cracked stock arms. The factory tubing is undersized for hard trail and rock work; these use 1.25 in. tubing with .138 in. sidewalls instead.
  • Camber loss after a lift or bigger tires. Both changes pull your alignment out of spec. The adjustable pivot blocks put it back — our guide to adjusting camber, toe and caster on a side-by-side walks through how to measure it at home.
  • Premature tire wear. Running out-of-spec camber chews the inside or outside edge of a new set of tires long before it should.
  • Worn-out bushings. The included UHMW bushings are self-lubricating and get smoother with use rather than binding up.
  • Tired ball joints on a high-mileage machine. If yours are due, replace them in the same job rather than pulling the front end apart twice.

Best For: RZR XP 1000 Owners Running Rocks, Trails Or Bigger Tires

  • Trail and rock riders who keep catching the front end on ledges and roots.
  • Owners who have added a lift kit or larger tires and need camber adjustment to protect their tire investment.
  • Riders repairing a bent stock arm who would rather upgrade than replace with the same part.
  • Anyone rebuilding a high-mileage front end — arms, bushings and ball joints all in one pass.
  • Builders matching a color — available in Red, Black and Voodoo Blue.

If you want a longer wheelbase and room for larger tires as well as clearance, look at SuperATV's forward-offset arms instead; this set is the straight high-clearance upgrade and keeps your factory wheelbase.

Fitment

  • Polaris RZR XP 1000: 2014-2023
  • Polaris RZR XP 4 1000: 2014-2023

You may need at least 1 in. wheel spacers. The 2024 and newer RZR XP uses a different A-arm and is not covered here. Fitment is not guaranteed on applications that are not listed above — confirm your year, model and submodel before ordering.

FAQ

What do high-clearance A-arms actually improve on a Polaris RZR XP 1000?

They raise the lowest points of the front suspension so you glide over rocks, roots and ledges instead of hanging up on them. The bent-tube design adds about 1.5 in. of additional ground clearance without changing your factory suspension geometry or lifting the machine.

Do these A-arms lift my RZR or change the wheelbase?

No. Clearance comes from the shape of the arm, not from raising the chassis, and this set keeps your factory wheelbase. If you specifically want a longer wheelbase and room for larger tires, that is what SuperATV's forward-offset A-arms are for.

Will they fit my RZR XP 1000, and do I need wheel spacers?

They fit the Polaris RZR XP 1000 and RZR XP 4 1000 from 2014 through 2023, in upper, lower or full-set configurations. SuperATV notes you may need at least 1 in. wheel spacers. Check the fitment list above against your machine before ordering.

Do the A-arms come with bushings and ball joints?

UHMW bushings are included at no extra cost — they are self-lubricating and get smoother the longer you ride. Ball joints are separate: either re-use your stock ones, or select a pre-installed set at checkout and SuperATV installs them for free.

How hard is the installation?

It is straightforward for anyone comfortable with suspension work and basic hand tools, and SuperATV provides step-by-step instructions and an official install video. Because the pivot blocks arrive pre-set to stock specifications, you can install and ride without touching alignment unless you want to fine-tune it.

Which ball joint option should I choose?

Standard Duty gives you OEM-grade strength in hardened, zinc-plated chromoly. Heavy-Duty uses hardened 4340 VAR steel and is tested to withstand double the pressure of an OEM ball joint. Super Duty 300M is the strongest of the three at 2.25x stock. Keller Performance uses a two-piece threaded design with no snap ring, is greaseable and rebuildable, and suits heavier machines on big tires.

Why SuperATV

SuperATV builds and tests its own suspension parts rather than rebadging them, which is why these arms carry a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects and why the pivot block design is the one other brands get compared to. The free ball-joint pre-install is a practical touch: it saves you a press, a shop visit and a second teardown.

Complete Your RZR XP 1000 Front End Rebuild

Front A-arms come apart at the same time as the ball joints, bushings and hubs, so the cheapest version of this job is the one you do once. Before you order, confirm your year and whether you want the adjustable or non-adjustable configuration, and decide on ball joints now rather than after the arms arrive. If you are running larger tires, plan for at least 1 in. wheel spacers. Heavy-duty axles and a sway bar bracket are the usual next steps for anyone adding clearance and tire size to an XP 1000.
