FAQ

How does this RZR Trail S 900 cab heater make heat?

It draws heat from the RZR Trail S 900's engine coolant lines, the same way a car heater works, so output builds as the engine warms up and keeps coming as long as the engine runs.

Will it keep my windshield clear?

Yes. Along with the two 360° adjustable vents on the unit, the kit includes defrost vents and hoses routed through the dash to keep snow, ice and fog off the windshield.

Which RZR Trail S 900 models does it fit?

SuperATV lists Polaris RZR Trail S 900 Sport: 2021+. Drilling through plastic and the firewall is required; all necessary bits are included. Fitment on unlisted models is not guaranteed.

How much power does it draw?

The heater draws 3.4 amps at 13.7 volts and comes with adjustable temperature and fan speeds.

Is drilling required?

Yes. SuperATV notes that you drill through plastic and the firewall, and all the bits you need are included. The official install guide is linked on this page.

Quick-start flow valve or idle flow pump: which one do I need?

The quick-start flow valve sends all engine coolant to the heater core at low engine temps and cuts warm-up time roughly in half, then opens on its own once the engine is warm. The idle flow pump actively circulates coolant so you get heat in about 30 seconds, even at idle or slow speeds. SuperATV recommends combining them for the fastest heat.
