Can-Am Defender HD11 K-Spec 7-Speaker Touchscreen Kit by SSV Works

The Can-Am Defender HD11 audio kit for touchscreen-equipped trims gives you a Phase-5 K-Spec layout with Kicker speakers and one SSV V10 sub. This SSV Works Defender HD11 system uses four front overhead Kicker speakers, two rear overhead Kicker speakers, and one under-seat V10 subwoofer. It connects to the factory BRP touchscreen for a clean Defender HD11 touchscreen audio upgrade with no added head unit.

Key Features

  • 1,650W total system power: 800W 4-channel amplifier plus 850W mono subwoofer amplifier
  • Seven-speaker layout: four front overhead Kicker, two rear overhead Kicker, one under-seat V10 10-inch subwoofer
  • Connects to the factory BRP touchscreen — no aftermarket head unit needed
  • Single ported under-seat enclosure mounted in a factory location with no cutting
  • RGB speaker lighting with knob controller and four rocker switch slots
  • 3D-scanned factory fit; SSV Limited Lifetime Warranty on enclosures and SSV subs, Kicker components carry a 3-year warranty

Built To Solve

  • Factory HD11 audio runs out of headroom the moment you pick up speed on the trail or open road.
  • Thin factory bass that disappears under engine, wind, and tire noise.
  • No rear-seat sound coverage for passengers in the cab.
  • Wanting loud, projecting Kicker overhead coverage with one sub instead of a dual-sub system.

Best For

  • 2026 Can-Am Defender HD11 owners with the factory BRP touchscreen who want Kicker overhead coverage with a single sub.
  • Riders running XT, XT CAB, Limited, MAX XT, and Lone Star trims who want strong cab sound without the dual-sub Phase-7 price.
  • Buyers who prefer Kicker's louder, more forward voicing — step up to Phase-7 K-Spec for dual subs, or choose V-Spec for SSV's in-house speakers.

Specifications

  • Total system power: 1,650W (800W 4-channel amp + 850W mono sub amp)

Fitment

Fits the 2026 Can-Am Defender HD11 with factory BRP touchscreen: XT, XT CAB, Limited, MAX XT, MAX XT CAB, MAX Lone Star, MAX Lone Star CAB, and MAX Limited. This kit connects to the factory touchscreen and is not compatible with X MR or other no-touchscreen trims (see the w/MRB4 version for those). Confirm your year, trim, and whether your machine has the factory touchscreen before ordering; fitment is not guaranteed on unlisted or unverified configurations.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this kit work with my Defender HD11 if it does not have the factory touchscreen?

No. This version connects to the factory BRP touchscreen and needs it as the source. If your HD11 does not have the touchscreen, or is an X MR, choose the SSV Works Phase-5 K-Spec kit with the MRB4 head unit instead.

What is the difference between K-Spec and V-Spec?

K-Spec uses Kicker speakers for a louder, more forward sound; V-Spec uses SSV's in-house V6 speakers for a balanced in-cab voicing. Both run the same 1,650W amplification and a single SSV V10 sub in Phase-5.

How is Phase-5 different from Phase-7?

Phase-5 uses the same six overhead Kicker speakers but a single under-seat V10 subwoofer instead of two. Phase-7 adds a second sub for more low-end output.

Do I have to cut my Defender to install it?

No. The enclosure and speakers are 3D-scanned to the HD11 and mount in factory locations with no cutting, for a clean, factory-style install.

How do I control the audio without a head unit?

The system feeds off the factory BRP touchscreen, so you control Bluetooth, media, and volume from the factory display. A knob controller runs the RGB speaker lighting.

What does the warranty cover?

SSV Works backs the enclosure and SSV subwoofer with a Limited Lifetime Warranty. Kicker components carry a 3-year warranty and amplifiers a 2-year warranty.

Why SSV Works

SSV Works has built purpose-made UTV audio since 2006, engineering complete, weatherproof systems designed for the dust, water, and vibration of off-road riding rather than adapting car or marine gear. Each HD11 system is 3D-scanned to the vehicle for a factory-style fit.
