FAQ
What does the RPM Super Villain pre-filter do?
It wraps the Super Villain air filter in a hydrophobic micro-screen that blocks sand, dirt, clay and water down to .005" before they reach the filter.
Does it restrict airflow?
RPM rates the micro-screen as adding little to no airflow restriction while filtering particles as small as .005".
Is an air filter included?
No. This is the pre-filter only; it fits over your existing filter.
Will it fit my Super Villain?
Fits the 2026-2027 Segway Super Villain factory air filter, per RPM Powersports.
How do I install it?
Slide the pre-filter over the clean air filter so it covers the filtering surface, then reinstall the filter as normal. No tools are needed.
How is this different from just cleaning the filter more often?
The pre-filter stops large particles and water at the surface so the main filter loads up more slowly, which extends service intervals rather than replacing filter maintenance.
Why RPM Powersports
RPM Powersports makes its hydrophobic pre-filters in-house and uses the same micro-screen material on its own intake kits.
