The RPM Powersports hydrophobic pre-filter wraps the X3 Carbon Intake air filter in a silicone-treated micro-screen that stops sand, dirt, clay and water down to .005" while adding little to no airflow restriction. It extends filter life between cleanings in dust, silt and water crossings.
This x3 carbon intake pre filter is the replacement for the one included with the RPM x3 carbon intake. The rpm x3 pre filter keeps the maverick x3 air filter on that intake clean, and as a can am x3 intake pre filter it is an x3 hydrophobic pre filter and replacement pre filter for routine x3 maintenance. The maverick x3 pre filter fits the RPM intake filter only, not the can am x3 air filter in the factory airbox.
