These SuperATV Rhino 2.0 mid-travel axles are the replacement axles for the HCR Racing Mid-Travel Kit for the Polaris Xpedition. HCR states they are made for this kit and compatible with it only, so they are not a substitute for stock axles on an unmodified Xpedition. Rhino 2.0 axles are built to the kit's lengths from end-to-end 4340 chromoly steel, with oversized CV joints made to run at extreme angles.

If an axle breaks on your HCR-equipped Xpedition, this is the direct replacement for the XPD-05400 kit. Choose Front or Rear. Each axle is sold individually.

  • End-to-end 4340 chromoly steel construction

  • Lengths matched to the HCR XPD-05400 mid-travel kit
  • Fits XP, XP 5, ADV and ADV 5 models
  • Lab- and field-tested by SuperATV
  • 18-month warranty

FAQ

Why do I need special axles for the HCR mid-travel kit on my Xpedition?

The HCR kit changes the Xpedition's suspension geometry and travel, so the axles have to match the kit. HCR specifies these Rhino 2.0 axles, built to the kit's lengths, for that setup.

What makes Rhino 2.0 axles stronger?

They use end-to-end 4340 chromoly steel, a larger-diameter shaft and oversized CV joints made to work at extreme angles and run cooler.

Do these fit both the Xpedition XP and ADV?

Yes. HCR lists the 2024+ Xpedition XP, XP 5, ADV and ADV 5 in NorthStar, Premium and Ultimate trims, with the HCR XPD-05400 mid-travel kit installed.

Do these fit a machine without the HCR kit?

No. HCR states these axles are compatible with its XPD-05400 kit only. A stock-suspension Xpedition needs standard-length axles.

Are the axles sold individually?

Yes. Each order is one Rhino 2.0 axle. Choose Front or Rear.

How do these compare to stock axles?

Stock axles are made for stock suspension. These Rhino 2.0 axles are built to the HCR kit's lengths, use chromoly steel throughout and carry an 18-month warranty.

Why SuperATV

SuperATV designs and tests Rhino 2.0 axles in house, in the lab and on the trail, and HCR Racing specifies them for its suspension kits. Every Rhino 2.0 axle is backed by an 18-month warranty.

Finish Your HCR Mid-Travel Xpedition Build

Order the front axle, the rear axle or both to match the corners you are servicing, and confirm your Xpedition is running the HCR XPD-05400 kit before you buy. While the suspension is apart, check the HCR kit's ball joints, tie rods and bushings so a worn part does not load your new Rhino 2.0 axles.
