Polaris RZR HD Reverse Load Upper Ball Joint by ZBroz Racing

Eliminate the most common Polaris RZR upper ball joint failure with the ZBroz HD Reverse Load Upper Ball Joint. The factory upper ball joint is loaded the wrong way for hard off-road use — under aggressive driving and at full droop, the housing wants to pull the ball stud out the bottom of the joint. The ZBroz reverse-load design flips that geometry so the load pushes against the strongest point of the assembly.

Whether you're racing, hammering whoops, or just running an aggressive trail bike harder than Polaris designed for, this is the upgrade that ends the failure mode that takes out factory upper ball joints. Direct OEM replacement — no fabrication, no modifications.

FAQ

What does "reverse load" actually mean?

Factory upper ball joints are loaded so that the ball stud is pulled out the bottom of the housing under suspension load — the weakest direction. Reverse-load design flips that geometry so the load pushes against the strongest part of the assembly, dramatically extending service life.

Will this fit my Pro R or Turbo R?

No. The Pro R, Turbo R, and Pro S use a different ball joint design. ZBroz makes a dedicated 300M HD lower ball joint for those models — contact Dunes 2 Dezert SXS for the correct part.

Is this a single ball joint or a set?

Each unit is a single ball joint. Most RZR applications need two upper ball joints (one per A-arm side) — verify your needs and order accordingly.

Will it work with aftermarket A-arms?

Yes for most aftermarket A-arms that retain the factory ball joint pocket dimensions. Verify with your A-arm manufacturer if uncertain.

Is installation DIY-friendly?

Yes — plan 1-2 hours per side with a ball joint press or a quality ball joint service tool. Detailed instructions are included.

Why ZBroz

ZBroz's racing program identified the factory upper ball joint failure mode in actual desert competition, then engineered the reverse-load fix. Same heat-treated construction used on their race trucks, available as a direct OEM replacement for your trail or sport build.
