Low stock

The Polaris RZR Pro XP puts a lot of travel over a low-hanging factory lower rear radius rod, and rocks and rut edges find it long before they find anything else. This LM UTV 64-inch kit is a set of Billet high clearance radius rods in 6061 Aircraft grade aluminum, with Massive 3/4 spherical bearings in the lowers instead of the stock joint.

It is the larger-joint kit in the LM UTV Polaris RZR radius rod line: 3/4 bearings and 3/4 Rod Ends rather than the 5/8 hardware used on the older XP cars. The lowers are fixed length so the high clearance geometry holds, the uppers are adjustable for rear toe, and the whole set is a Direct Bolt-on Replacement.

Built To Solve: Low-Hanging And Bent Rear Radius Rods On The 2020+ Polaris RZR Pro XP

  • Lower arms catching rocks and the edges of ruts. The factory lower sits in the strike zone; high clearance geometry is the only change that actually lifts it.
  • A bent arm you cannot straighten. Once the rod deforms it holds the wrong rear geometry for good.
  • Rear toe moving after a hit. The Pro XP starts hunting under power and scrubbing the inside of the rear tires.
  • Lower arms rotating out of plane. The Stainless Steel spacers with O Rings designed to keep the lower arm upright hold the arm square in the mount.
  • Undersized rod ends on a heavy, fast car. This kit steps the joints up to Massive 3/4 spherical bearings and RH/LH 3/4 Rod Ends.
  • Alignment that means disassembly. The adjustable uppers let rear toe be set with the arms still on the machine.

Best For: 2020+ Polaris RZR Pro XP Owners In Rocks, Ruts And Technical Terrain

  • 2020 and newer Polaris RZR Pro XP and Pro XP 4 owners, 2 seat or 4 seat, on the 64-inch chassis
  • Riders in rocky and rutted terrain where the lower rear arm is what makes contact
  • Owners rebuilding a rear end after bending or denting a factory lower rod
  • Builders who want the larger 3/4 joint rather than 5/8 hardware
  • Polaris RZR XP 1000 and RZR XP Turbo owners need the 10mm Bolt or 12mm Bolt 64" kit depending on their year; those are different part numbers and do not cross over to the Pro XP
  • Polaris RZR Turbo S owners are on the 72-inch chassis and need the 72" kit instead

Fitment

Fits 2020 and newer Polaris RZR Pro XP and Polaris RZR Pro XP 4 models through the current model year, in 2 seat and 4 seat form, on the 64-inch chassis. LM UTV states the fitment as: Polaris RZR PRO XP Radius Rods (64in) 2020+ Billet high clearance radius rods, Fits 2020+ RZR Pro XP 2/4 Seat. This is the Pro XP part number — RZR XP 1000 and RZR XP Turbo cars take the 10mm Bolt or 12mm Bolt kit for their year, and the RZR Turbo S takes the 72-inch kit. Fitment is not guaranteed on applications not listed here.

FAQ

Why is the lower rear radius rod the part that gets damaged on a Polaris RZR Pro XP?

It hangs lower than the rest of the rear suspension, so in rocks and deep ruts it is what makes contact. When it bends, the rear geometry it was holding goes with it. This kit lifts the lower arm with high clearance geometry in 6061 Aircraft grade aluminum.

My Pro XP has developed play and clunk in the rear — can the radius rod ends cause that?

Yes. Worn or undersized rod ends show up as play, clunk and vague rear tracking. This kit uses 3 Piece JMX Series Chromoly PTFE lined 3/4 bearings with Stainless Steel spacers with O Rings designed to keep the lower arm upright, so the joint is bigger and held square.

Will these fit a Polaris RZR XP 1000, RZR XP Turbo or Turbo S?

No. This part number is for 2020+ RZR Pro XP 2/4 Seat. The RZR XP 1000 and RZR XP Turbo take the 64" 10mm Bolt or 12mm Bolt kit depending on year, and the RZR Turbo S takes the 72-inch kit. None of them interchange with the Pro XP arms.

What size are the bearings and rod ends in this kit?

Everything is 3/4. The fixed lower arms use Massive 3/4 spherical bearings and the adjustable uppers use RH/LH 3/4 Rod Ends, all as 3 Piece JMX Series Chromoly PTFE lined 3/4 bearings.

Is any cutting or welding needed to install these?

No. LM UTV lists this kit as a Direct Bolt-on Replacement using the factory mounting points. Because the upper rods are adjustable, plan on setting rear alignment once the arms are installed.

How does this compare to the LM UTV 64" kits for the older RZR XP cars?

The older 64-inch kits are 5/8 hardware — 5/8 spherical bearings and RH/LH 5/8 Heims with 17-4 Stainless Steel spacers. This Pro XP kit steps up to Massive 3/4 spherical bearings, RH/LH 3/4 Rod Ends and 3 Piece JMX Series Chromoly PTFE lined 3/4 bearings, with Stainless Steel spacers with O Rings. Both are Billet high clearance radius rods in 6061 Aircraft grade aluminum, but they are cut for different cars.

Complete Your Polaris RZR Pro XP High Clearance Rear Suspension

Before ordering, confirm you are on a 2020 or newer Pro XP rather than an XP 1000, XP Turbo or Turbo S, since each of those takes a different part number. Then choose a finish: machined finished, Black Powder Coat or Powder coated. Once the arms are on, book a rear alignment so the adjustable uppers get set properly, and look at the mounts and hardware the arms bolt into, since that is where the load goes next. Matching Pro XP tie rods and a spare set of 3/4 bearings are the companion parts worth having on the shelf before a trip rather than after one.
