🔄 Post-Flash Startup Instructions:

Note: These steps override standard service manual procedures.

  1. Rotate engine by hand 10 times clockwise from rear.
  2. Verify cam timing.
  3. Check oil and coolant levels.
  4. Start engine, hold >2000 RPM until reaching 170°F.
  5. Gradually drop RPM by 50 every 30s until idle becomes unstable.
  6. Hold at unstable RPM until it stabilizes; repeat as needed.
  7. Once idle is stable at 1450 RPM, let it run 10–15 minutes.
  8. Machine is now ready for riding.
  9. May need slight throttle to start due to high-duration cams—this is normal.
