A plastic roof keeps the sun off and then channels every drop of rain straight down the windshield into your lap.

This UTV Zilla roof is formed from .090" aluminum with a front drip edge, so water runs off the front edge and away from the cab opening rather than sheeting down into it.

It is CNC cut and formed from a 3D CAD model, finished in a tough black powder coat, and arrives with the mounting hardware and installation instructions in the box. Black stainless bolts and washers mean no rust streaks down a powder-coated panel.

Built To Solve: Sun, Rain And Roof Runoff On A Four-Seat Can-Am MAX

  • An open cage puts four people in full sun all day
  • Roofs without a drip edge dump rain straight down the windshield and into the cab
  • Plastic roofs flex, drum and go brittle after a few seasons in desert sun
  • Roofs that arrive without hardware mean a trip to the hardware store before you can fit it
  • Plain steel bolts rust and streak a powder-coated panel within a season

Best For: Four-Seat Commander MAX And Maverick Sport MAX Owners

  • Families and groups running a four-seat MAX machine who want everyone covered
  • Riders who want aluminum rather than plastic for stiffness and longevity
  • Owners who want the runoff directed off the front rather than into the cab

UTV Zilla states this does not fit any other models. This is a four-seat MAX roof and will not fit the two-seat machines.

UTV Zilla notes it may not fit other brands of windshields and rear windows. If you already run an aftermarket windshield or rear panel, check clearance before ordering.

FAQ

Will this fit my two-seat Commander?

No. This roof is cut for the four-seat MAX machines only, and UTV Zilla states plainly it does not fit any model outside the listed MAX fitments.

What does the front drip edge actually do?

It turns the front lip down so rainwater running back off the roof drops clear at the front rather than sheeting down the windshield and into the cab opening. On a roof without one you get a curtain of water right where you are looking.

Does it come with hardware?

Yes. UTV Zilla includes the mounting hardware and the installation instructions in the box, with black stainless bolts and washers rather than plain steel.

Will it work with my existing windshield or rear window?

It may not. UTV Zilla flags that this roof may not fit other brands of windshields and rear windows. If you already have either fitted, measure before ordering, or pair it with UTV Zilla or Moto Armor glass designed around the same cage.

Is aluminum worth it over a plastic roof?

For most riders, yes. Aluminum stays stiff rather than flexing and drumming at speed, and a powder-coated panel will not go chalky and brittle in desert sun the way plastic does. It also carries the drip edge, which plastic roofs in this price range usually skip.

How is this different from the Moto Armor MAX roof?

Both cover the same four-seat machines in powder-coated aluminum. The Moto Armor roof is the heavier-gauge build and sits higher in the range. This UTV Zilla version is the lower-priced route to an aluminum roof with a drip edge.

Why UTV Zilla

UTV Zilla builds roofs the way they build the rest of the line: aluminum rather than plastic, CNC cut and formed from a 3D CAD model, powder coated, and shipped with black stainless hardware that will not rust-streak the panel. Everything is designed and made in the USA, and the hardware and instructions are in the box rather than sold separately.

Get Your Four-Seat Can-Am Covered

Confirm you are on a four-seat MAX machine and that your model and year appear on the fitment list, because this roof does not fit the two-seat versions or anything outside it. If you already run an aftermarket windshield or rear window, check clearance first, since UTV Zilla flags that other brands may not play nicely. Riders building out the whole cab usually add a front windshield at the same time. If you want the heavier-gauge panel, the Moto Armor Commander MAX and Sport MAX roof is the step up.
