The All Balls Racing EZ Trail universal CV boot kit lets you replace a torn UTV CV boot without separating the joint from the axle. The expandable boot stretches over a reusable cone tool and onto the joint, so a split boot can be fixed on the trail before dirt and water ruin the CV joint.

Kit contents per All Balls: universal boot x1, reusable cone tool x1, stainless steel clamp x2, grease pack x1, silicone cone lube x1, instructions.

FAQ

How does the EZ Trail boot work?

The expandable boot is stretched over a reusable cone tool and slid over the CV joint, so the joint does not have to come off the shaft. It is then trimmed and clamped.

What comes in the kit?

All Balls lists one universal boot, one reusable cone tool, two stainless steel clamps, one grease pack, one silicone cone lube and instructions.

Will it fit my machine?

It fits by joint diameter: Small end 16 mm; large end clamping diameters 63 and 67 mm; trim to length. Measure your joint and shaft before ordering.

Is it a permanent fix?

All Balls says the material is tough enough to be a permanent fix, not just a get-home repair.

Is installation difficult?

Clean the joint, repack it with grease, then stretch the boot over the cone onto the joint and clamp it. All Balls includes instructions with the kit.

Which version do I need?

The XL version (19-5038) has larger ends for UTVs and large ATVs; the replacement universal boot is sold separately as 19-5034 per All Balls.

Why All Balls Racing

All Balls Racing specializes in replacement bearings, seals, drivetrain, steering and suspension parts for ATVs and UTVs, packaged by application so the right parts arrive for the job. Its kits are built as direct replacements for the factory parts they cover.

Keep A Trailside CV Boot Fix On Board

Measure your joint against the listed diameters, add a pack of grease and spare clamps if you ride far from help, and check the joint for clicking or play before re-booting it; a worn joint needs a new axle.
