On a Can-Am X3 the dust that bothers you most is usually your own, pulled forward into the cab through the open back of the cage.
This UTV Zilla rear window closes that opening with tinted polycarbonate and, unlike panels that stop at the cage tube, includes a lower black panel that seals off the gap underneath it as well.
It installs with quick straps, so it goes on and comes off by hand without tools, and the panel is CNC cut from a 3D CAD model so it follows the cage rather than being forced into place.

Built To Solve: Your Own Trail Dust Filling The Can-Am X3 Cab
- An open rear cage lets the dust your own machine kicks up roll straight forward into the cab
- Riding in a group means eating the dust of everyone behind you as well as your own
- Rear panels that stop at the cage tube leave an open gap underneath that dust pours through
- Cold-weather riding with an open back means wind moving through the cab no matter what is on the front
- Bolt-on rear panels cannot come off for a hose-down or a hot day
Best For: Stock-Cage X3 Machines Ridden In Dust Or In A Group
- Riders who already run a front windshield and still have dust in the cab
- Group and convoy riders eating dust from behind
- Owners of both two-seat and four-seat X3 Max machines
- Cold-weather riders closing the cab off at both ends
- Consider instead: the Moto Armor Maverick X3 rear glass windshield if you want laminated glass at the back rather than tinted polycarbonate

FAQ
Will this actually cut the dust in my cab?
It closes the opening most of the dust comes through. On an X3 the dust that reaches you is largely your own, pulled forward through the open rear of the cage, so sealing the back makes a bigger difference than most riders expect. Pairing it with a front windshield is what gets you a genuinely clean cab.
What is the lower panel for?
Rear windows that stop at the cage tube leave an open gap underneath, and dust pours straight through it. This one includes a black panel that closes off that lower gap, which is the difference between cutting the dust and mostly redirecting it.
Does it fit the four-seat X3 Max?
Yes. UTV Zilla lists it for both two-seat and four-seat Can-Am X3 models from 2018 through 2025, so the X3 Max is covered.
Will it fit my machine if I have a snorkel?
No. UTV Zilla excludes any machine with snorkels, and XMR models as well. Both are hard exclusions, not tight fits you can work around.
Can I take it off without tools?
Yes. It mounts with quick straps, so it comes off by hand for a wash-down or a hot day and goes back on just as fast.
Is polycarbonate strong enough for the back of the cage?
Yes, and that is the reason it is used there rather than glass. Polycarbonate takes impact far better than glass, which matters for a panel sitting where rocks kicked up by the rear tires can reach it. The trade-off is that it scratches more easily, so rinse grit off before wiping.
Why UTV Zilla
UTV Zilla designs and CNC cuts every polycarbonate panel from a 3D CAD model, uses name-brand sheet rather than generic plastic, and includes the lower closeout panel that many competing rear windows leave out. The line is designed and made in the USA and priced so closing in the back of your cab is not a major purchase.
Close Off The Back Of Your Can-Am X3
Before ordering, confirm your X3 year falls in the 2018-2025 range and that your machine is not an XMR and does not run snorkels, which are the two hard exclusions here. Most riders who add a rear window are also running something on the front, so if your cab is still open up there, pair this with the UTV Zilla full glass windshield or the half windshield depending on how much airflow you want to keep. If you would rather have laminated glass at the back than tinted polycarbonate, look at the Moto Armor Maverick X3 rear glass windshield.
