Frequently Asked Questions
Should I add the rear glass guard?
The rear glass guard panel protects the rear cab glass from cargo that could shift and make contact during trail riding. Strongly recommended for riders who carry tools, chainsaw, or heavy gear in the overhead cargo area.
Should I add Packout positions?
Adding Packout positions lets you lock Milwaukee Packout boxes to the rack surface. 1–2 positions is the most popular setup for tool boxes and recovery gear above the bed floor.
What is the difference between this and the Tall Bed Rack?
The Short Headache Rack is a 3/4-length cab rack — lower profile and leaving the rear bed more accessible. The Tall Bed Rack has a taller profile for maximum overhead clearance and includes an enclosure structure. Both serve different Defender overland setups.
Can this be combined with the AJK Bed Drawer?
Yes — the rack mounts above the bed while the drawer uses the under-bed space. Both can be run simultaneously.
Is hardware included?
Yes — all hardware for installation is included.
